Ellenzweig provided programming, planning, architectural design, laboratory planning and design, and construction administration services for a new multidisciplinary science building to provide teaching laboratories and public space for the College's Departments of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. A feasibility study and programming are being provided for renovation options for the existing Physical Sciences Building to accommodate new programs, including mathematics, in spaces to be vacated by Biology, Chemistry, and Physics upon their move into the new laboratory building. The feasibility/programming study also included renovation options for the Health Sciences Building.
The laboratory building was designed to achieve a minimum of LEED Silver certification.
Ellenzweig served as Design Architect and Laboratory Planner in collaboration with Weber Murphy Fox as Architect of Record.
